We urge you to review this document thoroughly prior to confirming a reservation. When you book a rental with DailyInspirationBlog, you accept and concur with the stipulations listed here regarding refunds.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund excluding transaction costs
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Processing Fee: €50 for card payments
Conditions: Request must be made in written form via email or telephone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the total cost of the charter
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the refund amount
Conditions: A valid reason is required; administrative expenses will be incurred
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: No reimbursement is available
Exception: Consideration may be given to urgent situations
Alternative: At manager's discretion, a charter credit may be offered
Conditions: Emergency claims must be supported by documentation
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Your safety is our paramount concern. If charter voyages are rendered unsafe due to weather as deemed by our licensed captain, you're afforded several choices:
- Full Refund: If rescheduling isn’t viable, a full refund will be provided
- Reschedule: Rebook your voyage for an upcoming date at no added cost
- Charter Credit: A credit that’s valid for one year from the initial charter date is offered
Weather Assessment Process
Our procedure for assessing weather includes:
- Evaluation of wind force and trajectory
- Consideration of sea conditions including wave heights
- Forecast of visibility and precipitation
- Notices and advisories from the Coast Guard
- Assessment of safety by our professional captain
Decision Timeline: Decisions on weather cancellation are made at least 4 hours ahead of the set departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
We acknowledge that medical emergencies can arise unexpectedly. Under the following conditions, your situation may be eligible for special review:
- Acute medical conditions or injuries necessitating hospital care
- A loss within the immediate family
- Urgent military duty or recall
- Mandatory jury service or legal obligations
- Natural disasters impacting your travel plans
Documentation Requirements
For processing emergency-related refunds, please submit:
- Medical verification or papers from the hospital
- A death certificate when applicable
- Official military directives
- Court orders or notices of jury duty
- Emergency proclamations or travel warnings
Processing: Restructured refunds for urgent circumstances will be handled within 3-5 business days after receiving appropriate documents.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Issues
If the yacht assigned to you encounters irreparable mechanical issues:
- Alternative Vessel: We’ll endeavor to secure an equivalent replacement
- Full Refund: Granted if no adequate substitute can be found
- Partial Refund: Offered if the alternate vessel differs in price
- Compensation: We may extend additional compensation for any inconveniences caused
Crew Unavailability
In the exceptional event that a qualified crew is unavailable:
- Efforts will be made to arrange an alternative crew
- Full refund will be issued if the charter cannot be conducted
- Options for rescheduling will be made available at no extra charge
Refund Processing
Payment Method
Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method that was used to make the booking:
- Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days
Processing Fees
Credit Card Processing
€50 charge for cancellations made more than 72 hours beforehand
Bank Transfer Processing
€25 charge for all refunds via bank transfer
International Processing
Additional transaction fees might be imposed for international operations
Charter Credits
When Credits Are Offered
In specific scenarios, charter credits might be extended as an alternative to refunds:
- Late cancellations (fewer than 24 hours notice)
- Cancellations due to weather conditions
- Voluntary requests for rescheduling
- Service interruptions due to operational reasons
Credit Terms
- Validity: 12 months starting from the date of issuance
- Transferability: Not transferable to other individuals
- Value: Corresponds to the full value of the charter, free from processing costs
- Usage: Applicable towards any future charters that are available
- Expiration: Credits expire without the possibility of an extension beyond 12 months
Partial Service Refunds
Service Interruptions
If your charter experience is suspended or cut short due to factors within our control:
- Reimbursement corresponding to the unutilized portion of the service
- A voucher equivalent to the interrupted service for future use
- Provision of complimentary services or perks
Guest-Related Interruptions
In instances where a charter is prematurely ended due to guest behavior or breach of safety protocols:
- No repayment for the remaining time
- Complete payment is still required
- Additional fines may be levied
Dispute Resolution
If you find yourself disagreeing with a decision concerning a refund, available steps include:
- Seeking a reassessment from our management
- Putting forward additional evidence or information
- Engaging consumer protection entities for resolution
- Considering legal channels as per the governing law

Step 2: Provide Information
Your refund application should include the following details:
- Your booking reference number
- The planned date and time of the charter
- The basis for cancellation
- Any pertinent supporting documents (if necessary)
- Your preferred method for the refund
Step 3: Review and Processing
We will acknowledge receipt of your request within a day, evaluate it in light of this policy, come to a decision within two days, and initiate approved refunds within the timelines mentioned.
Important Notes
- Refund inquiries must be made in written format
- Refund transactions are conducted in €, notwithstanding the original currency of payment
- Purchasing travel insurance is highly advised
- The terms of this policy are subject to revisions, given a prior notice of 30 days
- Refunds adhere to the relevant tax laws and regulations
